 Paintings and drawings go up in the mixed show at the Macc Art Lounge, Grosvnor Centre Macclesfield unitl the 5th December.


 The seven graphite and pastel drawings previously hung at Fidra Fine Art, North Berwick now hang in a new mixed show at The Edinburgh Gallery, 20a Dundas Street Edinburgh until the 24th November.


 The oil on linen titled, The Ambassador of Wilderness is now finished and will hang at the RCA London in December as part of the FLUX 2 exhibition.


 Latest oil on linen 5ftx4ft entitled 'The Ambassador of Wilderness', is nearing completion. A short film captures the detail along the base of the painting. See it on YouTube,

'The Undiscovered Country', my largest recent painting and 'The Seeing Glass' circular convex panel hangs in the Rare Art Show, hosted by ExhibitHere at the Menier Gallery April 14th-18th.


FLUX 2,  A Carnival of Art Exhibition hosted by Grays Art Gallery will hold another show in December.


The exhibition at Fidra Fine Art North Berwick, Edinburgh is still running. The opening was a great success and I sold 'Morning Sentinels' and 'Flight of Actaeon'


The FLUX Exhibition at the Rag Factory just off Brick Lane, London had one of the best preview evenings I have ever been to.

Around 600-700 people attended the opening. Many works were sold and I have new friends and forthcoming opportunities as a result.

January 2015

Invitations are flooding in! From offers of a place in ArtMonaco July 2015 to an exhibition and residency in Kiev.

The challenge is as always finance. I cannot sadly fulfil these opportunities


7th September. My drawing  'Orthostat' accepted for the Society of Graphic Fine Art 93rd annual open at the Menier Gallery London. Preview evening 7th October.


28th August. Moved into the largest room in the house for my studio space. Redecorated and laid out. New inspiration followed and I completed 4 new works over the next few days days. Review the most recent here below my photo.


27th July. Since the previous posting, I have had a time of withdrawl to concentrate on the first large canvas for many years. Review the 5ftx4ft oil on linen called 'The Undiscovered Country'  


Many narrative ideas and visionary threads occupy my in-tray. I have in excess of 50 clearly outlined ideas for new paintings waiting.


8th March turning the Art Link space into my studio for the day.  Ongoing work to my latest oil canvas 'By the Waters of Lethe' It will be superb to work at the easel at my exhibition.

Will be giving informal talks about my work to visitors.

My new self portrait entitled

'The Seeing Glass' receives the Highly Commended Award in the Skart Open Contemporaries 2013.

It was a great opening evening.

The exhibition runs throughout August if you want to pay a visit.

With great surprise I discovered my large self portrait completed 1989 and purchased by the Highland Regional Council from my first solo exhibition is now part of the BBC Your Paintings National Archive.


With the launch of this website I am being increasingly contacted by people who own my work offering congratulations. Contact going back over 20 years.
